What is a Sauna Hat?
Sauna hats are thin beanie-shaped hats made from wool felt that keep you cool while using saunas.
Russian sauna lovers are particularly fond of sauna hats, which are often called “banya hats” or “banya bonnets,” alliterating the Russian word for sauna.
As part of the Finnish sauna tradition, sauna hats are also worn, and are sometimes called “Finnish sauna hats”. However, there is no distinguishing feature between a “Sauna hat” and a “Finnish sauna hat.”
